Job summary

Manulife Investment Management Partnership Team in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Development professional to build strong relationships with financial intermediaries, drive fund sales, and execute strategic plans. You will train distributor teams and collaborate with internal partners to achieve growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent business qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in a Financial Services organization.
• Priority given to candidates with relevant sales experience.
• Demonstrated self-confidence and motivation; able to work under own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with financial intermediaries and distribution partners to drive growth.
• Continuously develop knowledge in product, investment insights, and relationship management.
• Collaborate to develop strategic plans for onboarding, net sales growth, and marketing initiatives.
• Take ownership of distributors' sales performance and ensure delivery of plans.
• Conduct training sessions and market updates for distributors' sales teams.
• Plan and execute sales and marketing activities to reach targets and drive fund sales.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support partners and resolve issues.
• Monitor performance, identify growth opportunities, and improve distributor engagement.
• Demonstrate accountability by owning sales targets and overall performance.
