DXN International is seeking a Business Development Consultant to identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities within Malaysia’s laboratory and analytical services market.

You will conduct market research, implement growth strategies, and establish strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and clients. The role requires travel and a background in laboratory services or related fields.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in relevant business or science discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, or related commercial roles.
• Experience selling laboratory testing services or technical solutions is advantageous.
• Proven ability to develop accounts, build relationships, negotiate terms, and hit sales targets.
• Familiarity with laboratory testing services, quality management systems, and industry requirements preferred.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel for customer visits.

Business Development Consultant:1. Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across target industries and market segments.2. Develop and implement business development strategies to increase market share, revenue, and customer acquisition.4. Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, importers, exporters, distributors, consultants, and other potential clients.5. Explore opportunities to introduce new testing services and expand existing service offerings in collaboration with management and technical teams.

Requirements

• 1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Food Science, or a related discipline.
• 2. Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, technical sales, account management, or commercial roles, preferably in a testing laboratory, inspection, certification, or analytical services environment.
• 3. Experience in selling laboratory testing services or technical solutions to industrial or commercial customers is an advantage.
• 4. Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts, build customer relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and achieve sales targets.
• 5. Familiarity with laboratory testing services, quality management systems, and relevant industry requirements is preferred.
• 6. A valid driving license and willingness to travel for customer visits, where applicable.
