The role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding relationships with Commercial & Industrial customers, and delivering tailored proposals to drive sustainable sales growth.

You will collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements, manage accounts, and ensure timely collections while promoting the company’s products and services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
• Experience in solar/renewable energy is a plus.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities to achieve sustainable sales growth.
• Manage and expand relationships with existing and prospective Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customers within the assigned territory.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries by providing accurate information on the company's products, solutions, and services.
• Assess customer requirements and prepare tailored technical and commercial proposals, including quotations.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies and business development plans to achieve individual sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing enquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while safeguarding the company's interests.
• Collaborate closely with the Design, Project, and other internal teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements and ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding receivables to support timely collections.
• Represent the company professionally to customers, business partners, and the wider market, promoting the company's products, services, and brand.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
• Experience in the solar energy or renewable energy industry will be an added advantage.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets with strong business development and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel frequently and possess a valid driving licence with own transportation.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin will be an added advantage.
