We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across Malaysia. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who can identify opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to close.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a growth strategy across Malaysia.
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities across enterprise, government, and regulated sectors.
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and partner relationships.
- Engage with senior business, technology, security, risk, and procurement stakeholders.
- Lead opportunities through qualification, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
- Partner with Sales Engineers to deliver presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Collaborate with distributors, resellers, system integrators, and channel partners to create and close opportunities.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and activity information in CRM systems.
- Support account growth and expansion following initial customer wins.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience selling cybersecurity solutions, software, or services.
- Demonstrated success generating pipeline and winning new business.
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Knowledge of MEDDIC or similar sales qualification methodologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with channel partners and indirect sales models.
- Professional fluency in English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-growing environment.
Nice to Have
- Existing relationships across Malaysian enterprise, government, financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, or critical infrastructure sectors.
- Experience selling cybersecurity consulting or professional services.
- Familiarity with government procurement and tender processes.
- Experience with identity security, cryptography, or emerging cybersecurity technologies.
