Job summary

EPS Malaysia is seeking a driven Business Development Manager (Shipping & Logistics) to lead the sales function in Malaysia. The role focuses on developing new business, formulating sales strategies with the Sales Manager, and driving ecommerce initiatives locally.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma in any discipline and at least 4 years of sales experience in shipping/logistics, with Chinese language skills as an added advantage and experience managing juniors.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of sales related function within the shipping/logistic landscape.
• Proficiency in spoken Chinese would be an added advantage.
• Experience in managing subordinates/juniors would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales function for the organization.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies with the Sales Manager.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with tailored value propositions.
• Drive product awareness and pursue new business opportunities with the sales team.
• Act as a focal point for value creation for customers/end users.
• Grow local presence across products with the Commercial team.
• Prepare and track weekly progress with sales team and management.
