Job summary

EPS Malaysia is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead the sales function for shipping and logistics. You will identify new business opportunities and formulate sales strategies with the Sales Manager to align with management’s direction.

The role involves driving local product awareness, growing presence across offerings with the Commercial team, and validating business viability through economic assessments.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of sales-related function within the shipping/logistic landscape.
• Proficiency in spoken Chinese would be an added advantage.
• Experience in managing subordinates/juniors would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and identify new business opportunities with tailored value proposition.
• Formulate Sales strategies with Sales Manager in line with management’s direction.
• Drive product awareness and pursuit of new business opportunities with Sales team.
• Grow local presence across products with Commercial team.
• Prepare and track weekly progress with sales team and management.
• Act as a focal point towards value creation for customer/end user.
