ShopeeFood is hiring a field-based Merchant Acquisition Executive in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. You will identify and onboard local F&B merchants, driving growth in your assigned area with commission-based rewards. This permanent full-time role requires on-ground visits and strong negotiation skills.

Fresh graduates are welcome; you will travel within Sabah, managing pipelines and supporting merchants through onboarding while collaborating with internal teams to optimize the merchant experience.

Qualifikationen

• Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Melayu/Chinese is a plus.
• Based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with travel to assigned areas.
• Own transport and a valid driving license required for on-ground work.

• Proactively pitch ShopeeFood to high-potential merchants and expand the merchant network in your coverage area.

• Support merchants through onboarding ensuring all documents are submitted accurately.
• Gather merchant and competitor insights to improve ShopeeFood offerings and merchant experience.

Job Description

• Identify and acquire new F&B merchants within your assigned area through on-ground visits and calls to achieve monthly targets, with commission incentives tied to performance.

Requirements

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience in sales, business development, relationship management or account management will be an added advantage.
• Minimum SPM/Diploma qualification from any field.
• Based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, with flexibility to travel within the assigned area for merchant visits.
• Own transport and a valid driving license are required as this is an on-ground role.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English. Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu, Chinese, other local languages or dialects is a plus.
• Able to work on-ground during peak periods when required.
