The company is expanding and seeks a Business Development Executive – LCL Seafreight to generate sales, manage customer relationships, execute sales plans and identify growth opportunities while working closely with internal teams to deliver customer service.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

• To generate sales from an assigned territory or business portfolio.
• Responsible to manage customers and act as focal contact point to customers.
• To provide regular updates and weekly reports to Management on action plan and key activities.
• To be able to formulate and execute sales plan or strategy to achieve target set my Management.
• Build a strong working relationship between customers and internal team members.
• Actively work with internal team members to provide first class service to customers.
• Continue to upsell or cross sell services to existing customers.
• Identify and inform management on growth or new opportunities.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience related to shipping or logistics industry.
• Strong industry knowledge, market trend with good proven sales track record.
• Candidate will act as a Business Development for this job position.
• Must be able to communicate, read and write in English.
• Must have excellent selling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer proficiency in MS Office and able to deliver presentations tailored to the client needs.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent.
