SummitNext seeks a dynamic Business Development Executive to expand our client base in Malaysia, combining telemarketing, frontline sales, and networking. Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English is essential, with 1–5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years in telemarketing, sales, or business development
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese for client communication (spoken)
• Strong English proficiency (spoken and written)
• Willing to attend events and meet clients in person
• Independent, proactive and good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling and social channels
• Attend events, exhibitions, and networking sessions to build relationships and generate leads
• Present SummitNext's services confidently to prospective clients
• Qualify leads and coordinate with internal teams for proposals
• Maintain and update CRM with lead and client information
• Research market trends to identify new business opportunities
• Learn about BPO services and client needs to grow into a senior role

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive to help expand our client base and strengthen our market presence.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and confident Business Development Executive with strong communication skills in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. This role combines telemarketing, frontline sales, and networking, requiring someone proactive, independent, and comfortable engaging potential clients through various channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling and social channels
• Attend events, exhibitions, and networking sessions to build relationships and generate leads
• Present SummitNext's services confidently to prospective clients
• Qualify leads and coordinate with internal teams for proposal development
• Maintain and update CRM with accurate lead and client information
• Continuously research market trends and identify new business opportunities
• Take initiative to learn about BPO services, industry trends, and client needs

Requirements

• Nationality: Malaysian
• Experience: 1–5 years in telemarketing, sales, or business development
• Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking clients (spoken)
• Strong English proficiency (spoken and written)
• Comfortable with cold calling and proactive outreach
• Willing to attend events and meet clients in person
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident, well-spoken, and able to build rapport easily
• Independent thinker with a self-driven and proactive mindset
• Eagerness to learn and grow into a senior Business Development role

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in frontline sales or client-facing roles
• Exposure to BPO, outsourcing, or service-based industries (not mandatory)
• Strong networking ability and relationship-building skills
