Job summary

Pentas Flora Management Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a Business Development Executive for the Automotive Waste Department in Ipoh to secure a steady supply of used engine oil from local automotive suppliers. You will identify new partners, perform market research, and foster strong supplier relationships to ensure material availability for the Ipoh plant.

The role requires self-motivation, proactive sourcing, and excellent communication in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive, lubricants, used oil or petrochemical sales is advantageous.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Self-motivated and proactive with sourcing new used oil suppliers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Willing to travel extensively and possess own transport.

Key responsibilities

The role of a Business Development Executive in the Automotive Waste Department is instrumental in generating a consistent supply of used engine oil collected from automotive suppliers within the Ipoh area to ensure sufficient raw material for the plant in the Ipoh area.

Identify and source potential suppliers of used engine oil

Conduct market research to identify new collection opportunities and potential areas

Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers/customers

Prepare used oil collection analysis and reports

Promote the company's services and values

Monitor market trends and competitor activities

Perform other related duties, projects and assignments as required

About you

Experience in automotive, lubricants, used oil or petrochemical sales will be an added advantage

Good communication skills in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken

Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable sourcing new used oil suppliers

Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Willing to travel extensively

Must possess own transport
