Job summary

Pentas Flora Management Services Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Business Development Executive to develop and implement strategic business and marketing plans for scheduled waste collection, while building strong relationships with customers and suppliers and identifying new opportunities. You will conduct market research, monitor competitors, and promote our services.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Business, Marketing or equivalent, and excellent communication in English, Mandarin

The Business Development Executive is responsible for developing and implementing strategic business and marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives, specifically for scheduled waste collection. The role focuses on establishing strong relationships with customers and suppliers, as well as identifying new business opportunities. The executive will conduct marketing research, monitor competitors' products and activities, and maintain relationships with key strategic partners and clients. The position also involves preparing and presenting reports, promoting the company's services, and continuously improving product knowledge and skills.

Key responsibilities

Develops and implements strategic business and marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives and target for scheduled waste collection.

Establish close relationship with customers and suppliers of waste and expand new business opportunities.

Identify, source and conduct marketing research.

Monitors competitors' products, sales and marketing activities.

Establishes and maintains relationships with key strategic partners and clients.

Prepare and present analysis and reports.

Actively promote company's services and offerings.

Continuously improve product knowledge and skills.

About you

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent.

Good communication and presentation skills in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.

Self-motivated to find new leads (scheduled waste generators) and establish close relationships with them.

Good interpersonal skills and able to establish good relationship with people of all levels.

Own transport required.

Willing to travel for work purposes.

Experience in Chemical or Petrochemical industry is an added advantage.
