Job description

The Project Management Manager is responsible for leading, planning, and executing cross-functional projects in alignment with organizational goals. This role overs. This role oversees all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. The Project Manager will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate efforts, manage risks, and ensure compliance with quality and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and cost estimations.

Coordinate the preparation of project charters, business cases, and stakeholder analysis.

Identify required project team members and assign responsibilities accordingly.

Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to execute projects according to plan.

Monitor daily project activities to ensure resources are effectively utilized and tasks are progressing on schedule.

Ensure compliance with company standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring spending is aligned with approved forecasts.

Handle procurement planning and liaise with the procurement department for timely sourcing of goods and services.

Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement change control procedures.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in managing mid-to-large scale projects.

PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and software.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Familiar with budgeting, procurement, and quality assurance processes.

Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and changing priorities.

Possess own transport and willing to travel to site located at Selangor.
