Job summary

Toshiba Tec Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., a leading Systems and Solutions provider, seeks a motivated Business Development Executive in Ipoh, Perak to grow local sales of Toshiba multifunction copiers, barcode printers and IT solutions.

You will identify new business opportunities, conduct product demonstrations, prepare proposals, and follow up on inquiries while supporting marketing campaigns to achieve targets. Mandarin and Japanese skills are a plus; own transport is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree holder with 1–2 years of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet and surpass monthly sales targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the local market for Toshiba copiers, barcode printers and IT solutions.
• Organize and conduct product presentations and demonstrations for prospective customers.
• Attend customer inquiries and prepare sales proposals/quotations.
• Obtain customer feedback and relay requests to the District Sales Manager.
• Participate in exhibitions, promotions, and campaigns organized by marketing to drive results.
• Responsible for timely payment collection.
• Target on barcode market and related products (barcode printers, POS, scanners, mobile computers, labels, ribbons).
• Carry out pre-sales activities to generate qualified prospects.
• Gather and feedback information on activities and pricing.

Job description

Consistently meet and surpass monthly sales targets.

Identify and develop new business opportunity in the local market for Toshiba Multi-Functional Photocopier, Toshiba Barcode Printer and Solutions, Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) & IT related Solutions.

Organize and conduct product presentation and demonstrations to prospective customer.

Attend to customer inquiry, prepare sales proposal/ quotation for submission to potential customers.

Obtain feedback from customers and channel requests to District Sales Manager.

Participate diligently in exhibition/promotion/campaign arranged by marketing department to promote company product and to achieve the desired results.

Responsible for timely payment collection.

Target on Barcode market / product / solutions (Barcode printer, POS, scanner, mobile computer, barcode label, barcode ribbon, etc.)

Carry out pre-sales activities to generate working prospect.

Obtain and feedback information on activities and products/ pricing.

Job Requirements:

Diploma / Degree holder with 1 to 2 years of working experience in sales

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Possess drive, initiative and work commitment

Able to work independently and aggressively

Possess own transportation

Able to work at Ipoh, Perak

Proficiency in Mandarin and Japanese is an added advantage
