Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive with building materials experience to build networks with architects, designers, and contractors and secure specifications for project sales. The role focuses on engaging key project stakeholders from design through to commercial pipeline conversion.

The ideal candidate will have a proven B2B project sales background in building materials or construction and a strong network of architects, interior designers, quantity surveyors, or contractors.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B project sales or business development within building materials or construction.
• Strong network or experience engaging architects, interior designers, quantity surveyors, or contractors.
• Ability to present product parameters clearly and handle commercial negotiations.
• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Associate Degree/Diploma

Responsibilities

• Engage architects, interior designers, and quantity surveyors to secure brand specifications in early project phases.
• Drive project sales growth by following through with main contractors and sub-contractors to close orders.
• Present product solutions and technical specifications directly to key project decision-makers.
• Track local commercial and residential development pipelines to capture upcoming project tenders.
• Manage customer accounts, address project inquiries, and ensure specified products convert into final sales.
