Job summary

FIT PIONEER RESOURCES SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced BSS Project Manager / Delivery Project Manager (Telecommunications) to oversee end-to-end telecom BSS projects, ensuring successful delivery, quality governance, and stakeholder coordination.

The role requires strong experience in Telecom BSS platforms, software delivery, testing management, defect lifecycle management, and project governance, with collaboration across business users, technical teams, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in telecommunications IT / BSS delivery / software implementation projects.
• Proven experience managing BSS platforms and telecom systems.
• Strong understanding of BSS applications, Mediation, OCS, Offline Charging, Policy Control, Subscriber Provisioning, SIT and UAT.
• Experience managing software delivery, testing, and defect governance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Telecom BSS projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery governance.
• Lead project activities covering requirement analysis, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, release readiness, and production deployment.
• Manage defect lifecycle activities including defect logging and tracking, severity classification, issue prioritisation, RCA, fix verification and closure.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, testing, architecture, DevOps, and customer stakeholders.
• Prepare project status reports, defect dashboards, risk updates, and management reporting.
• Support project governance meetings, stakeholder communication, and escalation management.
• Ensure project milestones, quality objectives, and delivery timelines are achieved.
• Drive continuous improvement in project processes, testing frameworks, and delivery practices.

BSS Project Manager / Delivery Project Manager (Telecommunications)

We are seeking an experienced BSS Project Manager / Delivery Project Manager to manage telecommunications BSS projects, ensuring successful delivery, quality governance, defect management, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Telecom BSS platforms, software delivery, testing management, defect lifecycle management, and project governance. This role requires close collaboration with business users, technical teams, vendors, and customers to ensure successful implementation and delivery of BSS solutions.

Key responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of Telecom BSS projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery governance

Lead project activities covering requirement analysis, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, release readiness, and production deployment

Manage defect lifecycle activities including defect logging and tracking, severity classification, issue prioritisation, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), fix verification and closure

Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development teams, testing teams, architecture teams, DevOps teams, and customer stakeholders

Prepare project status reports, defect dashboards, risk updates, and management reporting

Support project governance meetings, stakeholder communication, and escalation management

Ensure project milestones, quality objectives, and delivery timelines are achieved

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Minimum 8 years of experience in telecommunications IT / BSS delivery / software implementation projects

Proven experience managing BSS platforms and telecom systems

Strong understanding of BSS applications, Mediation, Online Charging System (OCS), Offline Charging, Policy Control, Subscriber Provisioning, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Experience managing software delivery, testing, and defect governance

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience working with regional/global teams is an advantage

Experience with JIRA / ALM Octane, defect tracking tools, test management tools

PMP / Agile / Scrum certification is an advantage
