Job summary

Businesslist is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead end-to-end telecommunications initiatives in Malaysia. You will manage scope, timelines, budgets, and quality, coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires at least 5 years in telecom project management, strong governance, and excellent English communication. Willingness to travel internationally for long-term assignments is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the telecom industry.
• Experience in telecom infrastructure, civil works, external engineering projects, operations, maintenance, and delivery management.
• PMP certification is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of PM disciplines including scope, schedule, risk, change, financial, communication and stakeholder management.
• Familiar with contract management, procurement processes, and subcontractor management.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of telecommunications projects.
• Develop detailed project plans during the planning phase and monitor execution progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with contractual obligations, budget requirements, and company governance frameworks.
• Manage project compliance and ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while implementing escalation and resolution processes.
• Drive project performance through proactive issue management and structured reporting.
• Coordinate and align internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project resources, procurement activities, subcontractor performance, and delivery milestones.
• Facilitate effective communication across project teams and business stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management and delivery effectiveness.

• PMP certification is highly preferred.
