Job summary

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad in Penang seeks a capable Compliance Officer to manage day-to-day administrative tasks at the branch and ensure regulatory compliance. You will process loan applications, perform KYC, and maintain customer data while collaborating with various departments.

Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills in English and/or Mandarin are essential, with a preference for candidates who can work independently.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor Degree in finance, banking, accounting or equivalent from a reputable University.
• At least 3 years of experiences in sales administrative support role in Banking industry. Familiar with relevant rules & regulations and guidelines.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good interpersonal skill and time management skills.
• Capability of working independently.
• PC literate preferably in Windows Microsoft Office (e.g. Words, Excel, etc)
• Good communication skills in English and/or Mandarin (both verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day administrative works at the branch to sustain operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulations and act as a Compliance Officer for the branch.
• Process customer loan applications, KYC, maintain customer information in system, and attend to customer enquiry.
• Liaise with relevant department on loan documentation, loan release, rollover and other matters.
• Prepare periodic regulatory reporting and liaise with regulatory authority.
• Undertake any ad-hoc tasks as and when required by the Management.
