Job summary

OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad is seeking a Business Compliance Officer to ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and built on integrity. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to identify risks and implement effective controls to mitigate them.

You will also contribute to KYC/AML checks and risk management activities, helping uphold the bank's reputation and trust with customers while supporting business units across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of compliance related requirements e.g. BB Risk Calculators, Enhanced Due Diligence/ Ongoing Due Diligence (EDD/ODD), AML / Sanction checks etc for Relationship Managers to review and sign-off.
• Obtain the necessary information from customers to complete the compliance assessment for RM’s sign-off / submissions.
• Provide support to Business Units from time to time including KYC, OFAC, appropriateness and
