Job summary

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad is seeking a capable branch manager to drive business plans, develop relationships with customers and support cross-sell of banking products. The role involves overseeing daily operations including KYC, loan and deposit activities, and ensuring regulatory reporting to Labuan FSA.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, banking or accounting with 3–5 years in banking, and demonstrates leadership, independence and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in finance, banking, accounting or equivalent from a reputable university.
• Master’s degree preferred for enhanced eligibility.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in banking/financial services.
• Strong leadership, analytical skills and business acumen.
• Mature, pleasant personality with good communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Good command of English and/or Mandarin, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Drive branch business plans, targets and business development.
• Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Support cross-sell of banking and liability products.
• Oversee daily branch operations, including KYC, loans and deposits.
• Ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting to Labuan FSA.
• Act as a key representative of the branch and manage compliance risks.
