Job summary

AmBank Group is seeking a Branch Manager for our Menglembu branch in Malaysia. You will lead daily operations, drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and guide a high-performing team to achieve financial targets.

Bring at least 5 years of branch management experience in banking, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of banking products and regulations. You will represent the branch in the community and shape a customer-centric, compliant, and profitable operation.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in a branch management role within banking/financial services.
Strong leadership and people management with team development capabilities.
Excellent customer service orientation and proven client experience.
Proven track record of achieving sales and financial targets.
Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; IPPC licenses.
Deep knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills; proactive issue resolution.
Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison abilities.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day branch operations including sales, service, and staff management.
Develop strategies to grow the branch's customer base and achieve targets.
Provide leadership and foster a positive, productive work culture.
Monitor branch performance and use data to improve efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with other units to deliver integrated financial solutions.
Represent the branch and the bank in the local community, build relationships.
