About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven Branch Manager to lead our Penang branch. This role is ideal for a strong hunter with leadership capability, responsible for both driving revenue growth and managing full branch operations.

You will take ownership of the branch P&L, sales performance, and operational excellence, while building and leading a high-performing team.

What you’ll be doing

Drive new business development and expand customer portfolio (import/export – sea & air freight)

Manage and grow branch revenue and gross profit (GP)

Oversee full branch operations including Customer Service, Operations, Customs & Trucking

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, shipping lines, agents, and vendors

Lead, coach, and develop branch team to achieve sales and operational KPIs

Ensure compliance with customs regulations, SOPs, and company policies

Monitor cost control, service quality, and operational efficiency

Handle key account management and resolve escalations

What we’re looking for

Minimum Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field

At least 5-8 years experience in freight forwarding, with proven sales track record

Prior experience in team leadership / branch management

Strong knowledge in sea & air freight operations and customs procedures

Existing customer base / industry network will be a strong advantage

Results-driven, aggressive, and able to work in a target-oriented environment

Strong leadership, negotiation, and business development skills
