Job summary

RHB Group is seeking a Branch Manager to lead branch sales and operations in Malaysia. The role requires steering the team to achieve annual sales, targets, and branch profitability, while driving cross-selling across products and maintaining high customer service standards.

The successful candidate will manage staff, ensure compliance with bank policies, and build relationships with affluent and SME clients to support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management to the branch sales and operations teams to deliver annual sales and growth targets.
• Oversee loans, wealth, bancassurance, deposits and capital market products, especially investments.
• Develop, implement and manage branch sales and operations plans to meet targets.
• Set and communicate sales targets across staff levels.
• Review weekly targets and coaching needs to ensure targets are met.
• Monitor competitor activity and industry best practices.
• Promote cross-selling between customer segments and product categories.
• Approve quality credits as per approving matrix.
• Build and maintain a network with Affluent/HNI and SME customers.
• Promote bank core values.
• Hire, promote and manage staff salaries per HR matrix.
• Train and develop branch staff for customer service.
• Ensure high customer service standards and timely complaint resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies and no adverse audit findings.
