Job summary

RHB Bank Berhad is seeking a Branch Strategy and Planning Leader in Malaysia to drive the development, implementation and management of the branch sales and operations plan. The role focuses on achieving targets and growing deposits, wealth and digital banking solutions within the local SME, commercial, and corporate segments.

You will lead engagements with local business communities and coordinate campaigns with Regional Sales Heads and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the branch sales and operations plan to achieve the branch target
• Lead and manage visitations and engagements with local business communities
• Organise sales activities and campaigns with Regional Sales Heads and marketing teams to promote Bank’s products especially Deposit, Wealth and e-Banking/Solution and to engage and grow local SME/commercial/corporate customers
• Set, review and communicate sales targets to all levels of staff across the branch
• Maintain awareness of competitor activity and industry best practices
• Ensure cross selling and product neutral selling across conventional and Islamic products
• Develop and maintain network of business contacts with local consumer, affluent and SME customers
• Promote the core values of the Bank and ensure staff development and HR processes are followed
• Ensure clear customer focus and high customer service standards, and resolve complaints promptly
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies and procedures and avoid adverse audit findings
