Job summary

Fgviffco is seeking a seasoned boiler operator to ensure safe, continuous boiler operation and reliable plant performance. You will follow all safety procedures, maintain precise daily logs and checklists, monitor boiler parameters, and report anomalies promptly to supervisors.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, support for water treatment and cooling towers, and assisting in equipment upgrades. Applicants must have engineering qualifications, a Steam Boiler Grade 1 (DOSH) license,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of boiler operations experience.
• Steam Boiler Grade 1 (DOSH) license is mandatory.
• Engineering qualifications (SPM/ Diploma/ Degree) preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the boiler safely and ensure smooth, continuous operation.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of boilers.
• Maintain accurate daily operation logs, maintenance records, and checklists.
• Monitoring & Reporting
• Inform superior immediately of any equipment breakdown, abnormality, or potential issue.
• Monitor and adjust boiler parameters to optimize fuel and chemical consumption.
• Safety & Workplace Standards
• Comply with all plant safety procedures, especially for boiler and utility operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Support company targets for utility cost reduction.
• Utilities & Facility Support
• Assist in the operation of the water treatment plant and cooling towers.
• Assist in maintenance, modification, installation, and upgrading of machinery and facility equipment.

Other Duties

Perform other related tasks as assigned by the management.

Requirements

• At least possess SPM, or Diploma, or Degree in any relevant field (engineering- related qualifications are an advantage).
• Certified Steam Boiler Grade 1 License (DOSH) — mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in boiler operations.
