A leading recruitment agency is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support project delivery for high-rise construction projects in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The candidate will coordinate BIM models, lead clash detection, and work collaboratively with consultants and site teams to ensure model accuracy and compliance with project standards. Ideal applicants should have at least 1–2 years of BIM coordination experience and hands-on knowledge of Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD. We are looking for a BIM Coordinator to support our project delivery team for a high-rise construction project. This role focuses strongly on site coordination, ensuring all trades and subcontractors work seamlessly through accurate models, clash‑free systems, and proper BIM workflows.
Coordinate BIM models from all consultants and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with construction sequence and site requirements.
Lead clash detection and coordinate solution workshops with C&S, M&E engineers, architects, and trade partners.
Verify that subcontractor models follow project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and BEP.
Integrate BIM models for 4D construction sequencing and support project planning teams.
Provide BIM support to site teams—shop drawings, detail references, updated as‑built information.
Track model revisions, update model log, and ensure timely submission of BIM deliverables.
Liaise with consultants, authorities, and clients on BIM‑related issues, RFCs, and design coordination.
Work closely with Site Engineers, QS, and Construction Managers to ensure model accuracy reflects real site conditions.
Diploma/Degree in Architecture / Engineering / Construction Technology or related fields.
1–2 years’ BIM coordination experience in high‑rise projects (mandatory).
Strong hands‑on experience with Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/ACC.
Good understanding of construction methodology, high‑rise building sequence, and M&E coordination.
Ability to detect clashes, solve coordination issues, and communicate clearly with trades.
Experience working for a main contractor is a strong advantage.
