Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. is seeking a Billing Officer to join the CCO SCR Billing team in Malaysia. You will ensure timely processing of all billing payments, monitor backlog levels, and support the preparation and delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

In this role you will coordinate with business units to obtain accurate invoice data and maintain compliance with internal controls. Responsibilities include verifying invoices, preventing duplicates and duplicate payments, resolving

• Ensure billing payments are timely with zero backlog.
• Support in delivering the department's annual budget and targets.
• Verify invoices using JURIS / FinnOne / Collection system to ensure accurate billing.
• Meet all TATs and KPIs.
• Compile and improve daily, weekly and monthly tracking reports.
• Prevent duplicate or erroneous bills and double payments to business partners.
• Follow up on refunds of Court Deposits on a monthly basis.
• Assist, support and perform ad-hoc projects assigned by Managers / Head of Department.
• Align business partners to the required work format and respond promptly to queries on outstanding fees.

Business Performance and Management

Ensure all billing payment processes are timely executed with nil backlog

• Support in delivering the Departments annual budget and targets.
• Continuously provide feedback in improving work flow and report generation via system enhancement.
• Ensure all legal invoices are correctly billed with the effective use of JURIS / FinnOne / Collection system
• Ensure all TAT and KPIs are met
• Compile and continuously improve daily, weekly and monthly tracking report
• Ensure all legal billings are thoroughly check to avoid erroneous /duplication of bills and double payments to Business Partners.
• Follow up closely on the refund of Court Deposit on monthly basis.
• Assist, support and perform any ad-hoc projects assigned by Managers / Head of Department
• Managed the Business Partners in adopting our required work format and approach.
• Timely response to query on outstanding legal fee or estimates by other Business Units.
• Timely follow-up on rejected payments and take remedial steps to ensure payments is eventually paid.
• Timely reponse to IBA request from other Business Units such as refund of Court Deposits, debit surplus/reverse GL.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
