Job summary

Chakli Heavylift Sdn Bhd in Sabah is seeking a Billing Executive to prepare quotations, issue invoices, and follow up on payments for customers in the transport and logistics sector.

The role requires at least 5 years of billing experience, Mandarin fluency, and strong Excel skills. You will liaise with operations and finance to ensure accurate billing, and you must commence by September 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in billing/invoicing.
• Mandarin fluency is compulsory; ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, RFQs and follow up with customers.
• Handle monthly and one-off job billing and invoicing.
• Verify MR, DO, Job Sheets and supporting documents before billing.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on customer payments.
• Prepare Official Receipts and maintain payment records.
• Maintain accurate billing, quotation and debtor records.

Job description

Prepare quotations, RFQs and follow up with customers.

Handle monthly and one-off job billing and invoicing.

Verify MR, DO, Job Sheets and supporting documents before billing.

Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on customer payments.

Prepare Official Receipts (OR) and maintain payment records.

Maintain accurate EDR, quotation, invoice and debtor records.

Coordinate with Operations, Site, Accounts and Finance teams.

Handle customer enquiries related to quotation, billing and payment.

Prepare billing, quotation and outstanding payment reports.

Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in billing / invoicing.

MANDARIN FLUENCY IS COMPULSORY - We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Mandarin-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.

Experience in quotation, billing, invoicing and payment collection.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Experience with SQL Accounting or similar software is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication, coordination and customer service skills.

Able to work independently, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.

Experience in transportation, logistics, heavy lifting or equipment rental is an added advantage.

Must be available to commence work by September 2026.
