Job summary

Integrated Energy Systems (IES) is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to lead the marketing and sale of BESS solutions across Malaysia. You will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with commercial, industrial, and utility-scale clients, and support growth in energy storage and renewables.

You will develop strategies, prepare technical-commercial proposals, and coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure viable, competitive offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of business development or sales experience in energy, power, solar PV, or battery energy storage.
• Experience selling technical/engineered solutions (BESS, solar PV, power systems) is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems and renewables integration.
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and develop new BESS opportunities among commercial, industrial, utility, and government clients in Malaysia.
• Promote IES's BESS product portfolio to prospective customers and project developers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
• Prepare technical-commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.
• Build relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, and solar developers.
• Coordinate with suppliers and OEMs for pricing and RFQ processes.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory developments in Malaysia's energy storage sector.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure viability of solutions.
• Represent IES at industry events to enhance brand visibility.
• Support contract negotiations and handover to delivery teams.
