Job summary

Newbillion Precision Metal Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to support our BD team with RFQs, quotations and customer enquiries.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Costing, Quality and Supply Chain to gather information for customer requirements and track progress. You will also prepare customer presentations, company profiles and commercial documents, conduct basic market research, attend meetings and maintain accurate records of RFQs, quotations and sales

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales coordination, sales administration or a related role
• Experience in manufacturing / precision engineering is an advantage
• Good understanding of RFQ, quotation and customer coordination processes
• Able to understand basic engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong follow-up, coordination and organisational skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently

Responsibilities

• Support the BD team in managing RFQs, quotations and customer enquiries
• Coordinate with Engineering, Costing, Quality, Supply Chain and other departments to obtain the required information for customer requirements
• Track RFQ and quotation progress and ensure timely follow-up
• Assist in preparing customer presentations, company profiles and commercial documents
• Conduct basic customer and market research to support business development activities
• Coordinate customer meetings, visits and appointments
• Attend customer meetings and prepare meeting minutes and follow-up action items
• Support the BD team in monitoring customer requirements and follow up on pending issues
• Maintain accurate customer, RFQ, quotation and sales pipeline records
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales and business development reports
• Maintain proper filing of customer documents, NDAs and other BD-related records
• Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Business Development team
