Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd in Senai, Johor Bahru, is seeking a Cost Estimation & Procurement Specialist to prepare quotations from RFQ information, develop detailed cost estimates, and identify suitable suppliers. You will work closely with engineering, procurement and sales to ensure alignment between project specs and supplier capabilities.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration and at least 2 years of experience in cost estimation or RFQ

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration is required.
• 2 years of experience in cost estimation, procurement, or RFQ processes in manufacturing or engineering.
• Certifications in procurement, cost estimation, or supply chain management are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RFQ information, including technical drawings and specs, to prepare quotation requests.

• Identify and assess potential suppliers meeting technical, quality, and delivery requirements.

Job Description

• Analyze customer RFQ information, such as technical drawings and specifications, to prepare comprehensive quotation requests.


• Develop detailed cost estimates by evaluating materials, labor, and other expenses associated with manufacturing or service delivery.


• Identify and assess potential suppliers based on their ability to meet technical requirements, quality standards, and delivery schedules.


• Review and compare received quotations to determine the most competitive and suitable options, considering factors like cost, quality, and lead time.


• Work closely with engineering, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment between project specifications and supplier capabilities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical engineering), business administration or a related field.
  


• Additional certifications in procurement, cost estimation, or supply chain management are advantageous.


• 2 years of experience in cost estimation, procurement, or RFQ processes within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
