Job summary

Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Bar Manager to oversee the outlet’s operations in line with Hyatt’s standards. You will manage the bar team, ensure top-tier beverage offerings, and deliver exceptional guest service while controlling costs.

Responsibilities include inventory control, adherence to health and hygiene standards, and driving financial targets through efficient bar management and staff leadership.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management preferred.
• Experience as Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager in hotels or luxury restaurants is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bar operations, beverage preparation, inventory management, and customer service.
• Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills; ability to work under pressure.

Summary

As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the outlet in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards while meeting the expectations of associates and guests. You will oversee daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, high-quality beverage offerings, and operational excellence. The role includes managing inventory, controlling costs, achieving financial targets, and leading the bar team while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
• Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management.
• Work experience as a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager within hotels or luxury restaurants is preferred.
• Strong understanding of bar operations, including beverage preparation, inventory management, and customer service.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational and time management abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations effectively.
