Job summary

Hong Leong Assurance Berhad is seeking a Bancassurance Sales Leader to drive premium income and achieve life insurance targets within a defined Malaysian region. You will engage Bank Branch Managers, generate leads from referrals, conduct needs analyses, prepare proposals, and oversee policy issuance and post-sale follow-up.

The role requires 5+ years in insurance or financial services, strong stakeholder management, and a proven track record in sales execution across bancassurance channels.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in a similar industry, with proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Strategic and organizational agility, excellent execution track record, analytical, negotiation, communication, teamwork and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive premium income and achieve sales targets within the assigned region for Life insurance products.
• Serve as the primary contact for panel financial institutions and foster productive relationships through regular visits.
• Drive end-to-end sales process from lead generation to policy issuance and post-sale follow-up.
• Drive monthly and quarterly sales targets for Life insurance products in the designated area.
• Manage and close complex, high-net-worth cases; secure key referrals from bank relationship managers.
• Implement programs to generate a steady flow of high-quality referrals from bank staff.
