Job summary

Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks a seasoned Business Analyst with at least 5 years in system implementation projects within financial institutions or consulting environments. You will bridge business, technology, and external partners, gathering requirements and shaping solutions for reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities include leading stakeholder interviews, validating requirements, maintaining traceability, and supporting UAT and post-implementation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of business or technical analysis experience in system implementation projects within financial institutions or consulting environments.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills bridging business, technology and external partners.
• Experience in business process analysis and system/technical analysis.
• Experience in process design or process re-engineering.
• Ability to analyze data structures, interfaces and data flows across systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand business needs and design solutions.
• Strong documentation skills including functional specs, user manuals, training materials, RFPs, business cases.
• Experience in requirements lifecycle management, traceability, impact assessment and prioritization.
• Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including test plans and scripts.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology team and external partners, translating requirements.
• Interact with stakeholders and SMEs to understand problems, and design technical solutions when required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting, dashboards and analytical requirements.
• Assist the Program/Project Manager in liaising with project workstreams, Technology teams and SMEs.
• Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops and meetings to collect and validate requirements.
• Manage and communicate requirements to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Maintain requirements traceability across requirements, specs, testing and delivery.
• Conduct current-state vs future-state analysis to identify gaps for solution design.
• Perform Business Process Analysis and Systems Analysis activities.
• Analyze data requirements, data flows and integration points across systems.
• Assess impacts from solution changes on compliance and operations.
• Produce project deliverables based on documented requirements.
• Support testing activities including UAT, test plans and scripts.
• Support defect triage and issue resolution during testing and implementation.
• Participate in implementation activities and post-implementation support.
