Job summary

OMRON in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an entry-level Post-Sales Support Engineer to assist in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting, and to develop distributor resources.

You will support distributors and customers, coordinate system configurations, and participate in product trainings to build skills and contribute to improving customer satisfaction and productivity. The role offers growth through hands-on engineering work and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Diploma or Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
• Good analytical skills and sound technical / computer knowledge
• Exposure in SMT process is essential
• 0-2 years of experience in machinery troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive desired outcomes

Responsibilities

• Support Distributors & customers in order to rectify issues and maintain customers' confidence

• Support in Demonstration / Evaluation for full range of PCB Inspection System products either direct or together with distributor

Job description
