Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking an MGR-AVP, Business Development Manager, Emerging Enterprise to lead strategies for winning new corporate clients, identify prospects, and present tailored banking solutions across corporate finance, trade finance, cash management and treasury.

You will work with product and credit teams to deliver integrated solutions, manage a robust pipeline, forecast sales, and cultivate long-term relationships with senior decision-makers while monitoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years in business development, sales, or relationship management in banking.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of corporate banking products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build relationships with clients at all levels.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of the local market and regulatory landscape is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to acquire new corporate and institutional clients.
• Proactively identify, prospect, and engage with potential clients through various channels.
• Conduct needs assessments and financial analyses to propose tailored banking solutions.
• Prepare and present proposals and pitches to prospective clients.

• Collaborate with product specialists and credit teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and forecast sales; report progress against targets.
