Job summary

Citi in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Commercial Associate – AVP to service international Mid-Market clients, deepen existing relationships, and onboard new commercial banking clients. You will work with Senior Relationship Managers to deliver seamless banking solutions, leveraging Citi’s global network.

The role requires experience in commercial banking, strong analytical and credit skills, and a client-centered mindset.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in commercial/corporate banking or related field
• Experience in a Client Relationship role or client facing role
• Strong sales, presentation and communication skills with focus on service quality
• Analytical and credit skills are essential
• Ability to build and develop strong client relationships and collaborate with banking partners

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Citi network and internal teams, serving as a key contact for client requests
• Support Senior Relationship Manager in management of assigned client portfolio
• Ensure a client-first approach and deliver day-to-day banking and operational support to Mid-Market clients
• Collaborate with Senior Relationship Manager to leverage Citi insights and global network
• Assist with onboarding, KYC adherence, and CRM updates
