Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking an Account Relationship Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of corporate clients in Malaysia. You will build strong client relationships, understand their financial needs, and cross-sell financing, treasury, and cash-management solutions.

The role requires 3–5 years in corporate banking, solid credit-analysis skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of corporate banking relationship management experience.
• Strong understanding of corporate banking products including credit facilities, trade finance, cash management, and treasury solutions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Results-oriented with a strong sales drive and ability to meet targets.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients as their primary contact.
• Proactively identify and acquire new corporate clients and grow the portfolio.
• Analyze client financials to propose suitable banking solutions.
• Prepare and present credit proposals in line with policies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with product specialists to deliver comprehensive banking solutions.
• Stay updated on market and regulatory changes to advise clients.
• Aim to meet individual and team sales targets.
