Job summary

Naga Jaya Automotive Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur seeks a detail-oriented Procurement & Product Assistant to support product data management, sourcing, and cross-brand comparisons, while helping optimise inventory and supplier negotiations.

You will work with ERP systems and MS Excel to produce clear reports and assist the Project Manager with ad-hoc research and data analysis; experience with Pivot Tables and basic data modelling would be a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English (speaking, writing, reading)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• High attention to detail when comparing part numbers, specs, and pricing
• Experience using ERP and MS Office, particularly Excel
• Interest in automotive parts preferred

Responsibilities

• Product management and development
• Assist with document entry and creation as required
• Review and organize aftermarket compatibility information, cross-referencing OEM part numbers with multiple aftermarket alternatives
• Compare pricing, specifications, and product configurations across brands and suppliers
• Use OEM EPC systems to identify and verify part numbers
• Support purchasing, inventory, and distribution planning with data
• Organize findings into clear spreadsheets and reports for management review
• Support the Project Manager with ad-hoc research and analysis requests
