Job summary

Beckhoff Automation Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is expanding its team and seeks a Sales Support Engineer. You will understand customer RFQs, advise on Beckhoff solutions, and prepare technical proposals to support pre-sales activities.

Candidate should have a technical background, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Local market knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Fresh graduates encouraged; 1–3 years in automation sales support is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of automation systems, PLCs, motion control, and industrial networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical pre-sales support and interpret RFQs and specs.
• Propose Beckhoff solutions that are technically sound and commercially viable.
• Create technical proposals, documentation, and presentations for customers.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Finance for orders and delivery.
• Maintain records in D365/CRM and generate monthly performance reports.
