Job summary

ETRIA MANUFACTURING MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Assistant Shipping Manager to oversee shipping and logistics for our Penang operations.

The role ensures timely delivery domestically and internationally and requires leadership of the shipping/warehouse team. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in logistics or related fields and 3-5 years of experience with LMW licenses, plus strong knowledge of Malaysian customs procedures and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience handling LMW license operations.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Customs procedures and import/export regulations.
• Experience dealing with Customs audits and compliance matters.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with LMW license requirements and Royal Malaysian Customs regulations.
• Liaise with Customs officers, MITI, and other regulatory authorities.
• Oversee import/export documentation and customs declarations.
• Monitor bonded warehouse and internal FG store operations and stock reconciliation.
• Ensure proper record-keeping in accordance with LMW guidelines.
• Lead and supervise shipping/warehouse/logistics team.
• Prepare reports for management and authorities.
• Ensure smooth audit processes (internal & external).

About the role

ETRIA MANUFACTURING MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Assistant Shipping Manager to join our team in Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and logistics operations for our manufacturing business, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our products to customers both domestically and internationally.

What you'll be doing
