Job summary

BGC Development Sdn. Bhd.

invites applications for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the Quantity Surveyor with take-offs from construction drawings and tender drawings, and to prepare measurement sheets and cost comparisons. You will conduct monthly site measurements to verify progress, assist in subcontractor payment claims and VO checks, liaise with suppliers, keep thorough filing, and help update project cost records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiar with quantity take-off, reading and analyzing drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
• Able to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

The job scope and responsibilities for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor include the following:

Assist the Quantity Surveyor in taking off quantities from construction drawings and tender drawings.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

1–2 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying is preferred.

Able to complete and submit assigned tasks within the required deadlines.
