Job summary

LK Global Engineering seeks a qualified Quantity Surveyor with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field to join our team in Malaysia.

The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong cost estimation, tendering, and contract knowledge, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Fresh graduates seeking Junior QS positions are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience; Fresh graduates may apply for Junior QS positions.
• Knowledge of contracts, tendering, and cost estimation.
• Able to prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), quotations, and project cost estimates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; QS software is an advantage.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and tender documents.
• Evaluate quotations and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare progress claims, subcontractor claims, and payment certificates.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and budgets.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure effective cost control throughout the project.
• Maintain proper project documentation and cost records.
