Job summary

Grandwork Interior Sdn Bhd in Malaysia, Puchong, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of interior build projects from start to finish. You will assist with daily site activities, monitor progress, and ensure works adhere to drawings, specs, and schedule.

You will liaise with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and consultants to keep projects on track, manage materials, monitor costs, and prepare progress and site reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, coordinating and executing interior projects.
• Ability to monitor site activities and ensure compliance with drawings and schedule.
• Strong communication with subcontractors, vendors and clients.
• Ability to prepare progress, site and project documentation accurately.
• Comfort with cost control and budgeting for project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities from start to finish.
• Support site execution by monitoring daily site activities and progress.
• Monitor site activities to ensure timely completion of works.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, landlords, clients and consultants.
• Manage material requirements, stock, fittings and delivery schedules.
• Monitor workmanship quality to meet drawings, specs and standards.
• Assist in monitoring project costs to stay within budget.
• Prepare project and site reports and records on time.
• Identify issues and risks and report with recommendations.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
