Job summary

Grandwork Interior Sdn Bhd in Malaysia, Puchong, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of interior build projects from start to finish. You will assist with daily site activities, monitor progress, and ensure works adhere to drawings, specs, and schedule.

You will liaise with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and consultants to keep projects on track, manage materials, monitor costs, and prepare progress and site reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, coordinating and executing interior projects.
• Ability to monitor site activities and ensure compliance with drawings and schedule.
• Strong communication with subcontractors, vendors and clients.
• Ability to prepare progress, site and project documentation accurately.
• Comfort with cost control and budgeting for project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities from start to finish.

Job description

Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities from commencement until completion.

Support project and site execution by monitoring daily site activities, progress, and ensuring works are carried out according to project requirements, approved drawings, specifications, and schedule.

Monitor and manage site activities to ensure smooth project progress and timely completion of works.

Liaise and coordinate eAectively with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, landlords, clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Manage and monitor material requirements, stock availability, fittings, and delivery schedules to ensure timely availability of materials for project execution.

Monitor and control workmanship quality to ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and company quality standards.

Assist in monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure projects are completed within the approved budget.

Prepare project documentation, progress reports, site reports, and other relevant project records accurately and within the required timeline.

Identify project issues, risks, and delays, and report to the Project Manager with recommendations for corrective actions.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.
