Job summary

See Yong & Son Construction Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in coordinating and monitoring project activities across civil and marine works.

You will liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams, prepare reports, keep records, and assist site visits while developing strong organisational and time management skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related field with basic PM knowledge.
• At least 2 years of project coordination or related experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities.
• Follow up on schedules, progress, materials, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Assist with site visits and project inspections.
• Prepare project documents, reports, and meeting minutes.
• Support management with project-related admin tasks.
• Travel to project sites when required.
