Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or a related field
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in construction or project management
• Proven experience in assisting or managing construction projects from commencement to completion
• Hands-on experience in core functions such as technical coordination, quantity surveying/cost control, site operations, or project planning

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, managing, and executing construction projects from commencement to completion
• Monitor daily site progress, workmanship, quality, safety, and compliance with drawings and specifications
• Identify potential project risks, delays, and site constraints; implement corrective actions
• Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, authorities, and senior management
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian laws, regulations, and contract requirements
• Monitor project costs, variations, and resource utilisation
• Attend site meetings and assist in preparing progress reports and site documentation
• Troubleshoot construction issues and ensure timely follow-up
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the project team
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement on site
• Willing to travel to project sites as required
