Job summary

Dong Foong Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager for its health supplement production facility in Malaysia. You will lead Production, QA/QC, and Logistics, drive audits and certifications, and develop robust SOPs with HR to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in production/operations management in GMP/HACCP/ISO 22000/Halal health supplement or food manufacturing
• Hands-on experience leading audits and people
• Degree in Food Technology / Science / Engineering or equivalent
• Mandarin proficiency (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking management and China suppliers), plus English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Builder's mindset: structured, calm, decisive and systemic problem solving

Assistant Operations Manager (Health Supplement Manufacturing)

We are growing — a new production unit is being commissioned — and we are hiring for our new management team to lead the factory floor and build the systems that will carry us into our next chapter.

Key responsibilities

Day-to-day leadership of Production, QA/QC, Warehouse & Logistics

Audits & certifications — cGMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, Halal; be the face of the factory to auditors and clients

Systems & SOPs — working with HR, build the procedures, KPIs and daily disciplines that make the plant run without fire-fighting

New plant commissioning — machine set-up, layout, process validation for our new production unit

Lead and develop a team of supervisors and executives; be the go-to person for the factory when the Directors are away

About you

Minimum 5 years in production / operations management in a certified (GMP / HACCP / ISO 22000 / Halal) health supplement, health food or food manufacturing plant

Hands-on experience leading audits and leading people

Degree in Food Technology / Science / Engineering or equivalent

Mandarin proficiency (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking management and China suppliers), plus English & Bahasa Malaysia
