Job summary

Dong Foong Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager for its health supplement production facility in Malaysia. You will lead Production, QA/QC, and Logistics, drive audits and certifications, and develop robust SOPs with HR to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in production/operations management in GMP/HACCP/ISO 22000/Halal health supplement or food manufacturing
• Hands-on experience leading audits and people
• Degree in Food Technology / Science / Engineering or equivalent
• Mandarin proficiency (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking management and China suppliers), plus English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Builder's mindset: structured, calm, decisive and systemic problem solving

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day leadership of Production, QA/QC, Warehouse & Logistics
• Audits & certifications — cGMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, Halal; face of the factory to auditors and clients
• Systems & SOPs — build procedures, KPIs, and daily disciplines with HR
• New plant commissioning — machine setup, layout, process validation
• Lead and develop a team of supervisors and executives; stand-in for Directors
