Job summary

The Origin Foods Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Production Operation Senior Executive or Assistant Manager to coordinate daily production activities and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, Halal, and quality standards.

You will work with the Production team to plan schedules, monitor output, manage material usage and wastage, and support continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in GMP-certified food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Halal principles and documentation practices.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Production Operation Senior Executive or Assistant Manager

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operation Executive to join our dynamic team in the health food manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating daily production activities, ensuring compliance with GMP, Halal, HACCP, and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate daily production operations to ensure smooth workflow, efficiency, and product quality.

Work closely with the Production team to plan schedules, monitor output, and resolve any operational or process-related issues.

Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with GMP, HACCP, Halal, and internal quality standards.

Collaborate with QA/QC, R&D, Warehouse, Procurement, and Maintenance teams to support production requirements and on-time delivery.

Monitor material usage, yield, and wastage, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability in the ERP system.

Participate in audits, documentation control, and process validation to maintain production compliance.

Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost control, and workplace safety.

Prepare and present production performance and operation reports for management review.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in GMP-certified food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Halal principles and documentation practices.

Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

A hands-on, team-oriented individual with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
