Job summary

Omega Health Products Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian GMP-certified manufacturer, seeks a Production Supervisor to manage daily production operations, supervise operators and ensure product quality in Semenyih.

Lead a disciplined team, coordinate with QA and stores, maintain safety, and document daily production reports while seeking continuous improvement. Requirements include SPM or Diploma, 3–5 years in manufacturing, GMP/HACCP knowledge, Bahasa Malaysia and English, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma qualification in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing.
• Experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or powder handling industry will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP standards.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia with basic proficiency in English.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, teamwork, discipline, and sense of responsibility.
• Hands-on experience in machine operation, basic troubleshooting, production processes, documentation, and quality control.

• Machine Operation & Troubleshooting: Ensure machines operate efficiently and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Production Monitoring: Monitor production processes, machine setup, and product quality.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare, maintain, and update daily production reports and records.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Coordinate with QA and Stores to ensure smooth flow and material availability.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain workplace discipline, enforce safety, and ensure cleanliness.
• Undertake any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the superior.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Operations: Manage daily production operations to achieve production targets while ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Team Supervision: Supervise production operators and team leaders, ensuring smooth workflow, discipline, and compliance with company procedures.
• Machine Operation & Troubleshooting: Ensure machines operate efficiently and perform basic troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
• Production Monitoring: Monitor production processes, machine setup, and product quality to ensure compliance with production standards.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare, maintain, and update daily production reports, production records, and other related documentation.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) and Store departments to ensure smooth production flow and material availability.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain workplace discipline, enforce safety regulations, and ensure cleanliness within the production area.
• Undertake any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the superior.
